So if the energy is neither created or destroyed it is just a matter of finding a way to constantly transfer the energy from one form to another, and surely if we live in a system where the energy is not created or destroyed whatever energy we use is transferred into a different kind of energy which we could then transfer again and keep transferring the energy. So we do live in a system of perpetual motion, isn't that correct ? I'm no physicist, and I only just been reading all these comments and it's all interesting and people saying something is impossible because someone at some point said so and created all these law which have been proven to exist but does not mean that someone may prove that they are wrong. We live in a world where technology changes and improves everyday and what seems impossible at the moment doesn't mean that it cannot be possible in the future. I think the main point is that people should keep their minds open despite how impossible something may seem.

  1. Well, if we would be able to transfer the energy completely loss less, then we could start a never ending motion. This is correct but useless. As we draw energy from this motion to power something else, we take energy out of the system which is in motion, meaning the motion will come to an end, because the energy is not in the system anymore to keep up the motion. If you have a wheel, which can spin completely free without any friction and you attach a generator to it, the generator is then the friction, which means, the wheel can't spin free anymore.
